After a bit of delay waiting to see if we had a decent chance of being able to run, the club are now full steam ahead with preparations for this years Bulk Automation Hafren BEC, rounds 3&4 of the Michelin British Enduro Championship on Sat/Sun 31st July/1st August.

The start will be at Llanidloes Rugby Club with its great facilities. The 1st test will be the “usual” big
grassy MX test just down the road from the start. Service and and the Enduro
test will be in the same location as last year. Using some of the area used for the Extreme
test for the WEC back in 2008, it will be mostly in the forest with some out on a big
grass field. Course will be similar format as back in 2019 where we went back to the old long lap format with a big old school 5o mile lap consisting of farmland and forestry tracks, with some totally new going have been found over the winter.

Club members having been working on the route for the past few weeks, and it promises to be a real cracker. Entries will open on the Monday 14th June at 7pm on the ACU online entry system (we will post a link here)and will be limited to 180 riders, so get in quick to avoid disappointment.

We are really pleased to have local company Bulk Automation on board again as the event sponsor.

BA are based in Llanidloes working all over the World run by a number of motorcycle enthusiasts. They provide end of line packaging equipment and robot handling solutions throughout the world. They design and manufacture material and pallet handling equipment for packaging and palletising systems. Their inhouse design and technical department give the flexibility to design bespoke turn key systems to suit each customers individual requirements. Couple this with their service and aftersales support and Bulk Automation provides the full package when it comes to automated packaging and robotic solutions.

HDBC are really grateful for their support, as it allows the club to put on the quality event worthy of British Championship status. If you have any automated packaging and handling requirements please have a look at BA’s website
