For the 1st time ever it is hoped to have decent quality broadband up the top end of the Old Hall Valley. Hafren DBC in conjunction with local trials enthusiast and business owner Joe Lowe at PCQ Solutions (Specialist broadband and IT Support based in Llanidloes) have come up with a plan to hopefully put this in place. This steep side rural valley is renowned for very poor internet connections, and no mobile phone signal, with the best form of communication being messenger pigeon!
It is hoped the temporary solution put in place will provide, organisers, competitors and spectators with decent quality WIFI in the paddock. This will allow HDBC to be able to post regular results updates throughout the day on the club Facebook page, and will hopefully allow everybody to be able to share images and videos from the day, and give some level of communication with the outside World.
Please be sensible with your data usage, as this needs to be shared between everybody over the weekend.
