Freestyle Hafren Rally Entries now open

Entries for this years Freestyle Bikes Hafren Rally scheduled for Sunday 21st October are now open.  Local Yamaha & Husqvarna dealership Freestyle bikes in Newtown have continued their sponsorship of this years event.

Entries are only be available online using the ACU online entry system please read the Supplementary Regulations prior to completing your online entry, this will give you more info on classes etc.

Planning for this event is well underway, and format will be very similar to previous years. Start will be at the superb all weather Sweet Lamb motorsport complex,which offers guaranteed hard standing parking whatever the weather.  Lap length will be approximately 50 miles, and will run in reverse to recent years, and due to it being a bit earlier in the year, we hope to be able to run 3 full laps with the extra hour or so of daylight.  The course will consist of open moorland, gravel roads, and forestry tracks and trails, with 3 special stages, with plenty of spectacular Mid Wales countryside. It will include a few more challenging optional routes on the liaison sections. Entry fee is £75 and there will be separate classes for rally, trail and enduro bikes (no MX bikes) and a beginners class for the new comers/less confident riders. The beginners class will do the same course, but will be expected to complete a lap less and will start at the back of the entry so they are not riding amongst the quicker riders.

As this is a fun social event, there will be a social get together on the Saturday evening where there will be a buffet and bar laid on to give everybody a chance to have a chat and a few beers, not too many mind!
Entry limit has been reduced to 180 riders. This event usually fills up quickly, so please get your entries in quickly to avoid disappointment.

    I have entered the event but have made a mistake with the class ,should have entered rally lite 2 but put entry in rally class .my name is Granville parry and entered yesterday,is it possible to change class and keep same grading

      Hi i got booked in rally light 2 has advised but ive just been told i shoild be rally light 1. Can i be swapped over.

      Big Bike class, and you will be asked to grade yourself 1-10 based upon ability, this will be used to create the start order, faster riders away 1st.

    Are there entries available in the beginners class? Sorry for the short notice but have just recovered from shoulder/hip replacements and ready to go, carefully of course, just want a steady ride round and get to know the tally scene. Colin.

      Hi Mark, Giovanni has classified himself as a 9, therefore is in the beginners class and running towards the back, and only completing 2 laps and not 3, do you want to move back to the beginners or move Giovanni forward to the main class with you? Thanks
