See below for further info on the event:

We are happy to announce that we have got two great sponsors on board for this years They are one of the top tyre brands Metzeler and motorsport enthusiast, and Hafren club supporter John Paul Transport Limited from Lincoln. These sponsors give us the resources to go that extra mile and do all we can to try and put on a top class British Championship round.
Preparations are well under way, including consultation with Natural Resources Wales, Powys County Council, MSA, Dyfed Powys Police and various private landowners. Our small band of club members are out in the forestry every other Thursday night clearing old and new tracks and trails, with a view to plotting an interesting route.

Outline plans for this event, is that the main lap will move back into the vast Hafren forest, as opposed to Tarenig & Myherin as used for HDBC’s last BEC in 2015. The paddock is the same place as always, at fabulous Llanildoes rugby club, with its good facilities including, showers, toilets, floodlights, bar, food etc, all of which are only a short walk into the town of Llanidloes. Again the 1st test will be the “usual” big grassy MX test just down the road from the start area, as used in previous BEC, EEC, & WEC events. This will be ridden morning and night, with back to back for Championship riders. The event will then head up to the service area at Glynhafren farm, where it is hoped to have a long old school enduro test, that will start and finish on the farm, with the majority of the test being in the forest. A lap in in the region of 30 miles is planned in the forest, with one check being a bit more challenging, and tighter on time, and the other being a bit more relaxed, and then a slack check to include the Enduro test and service.

Finally would like to say a big thanks to Barry Urand at Metzeler , and John Paul Hetherington Field of John Paul Transport for their valued support, please support those who back our sport.
